Gender- Based Violence (GBV):

One of our key focus areas is gender-based violence prevention, response, and mitigation. We are focused on economic empowerment of women and adolescent girls; entrepreneurship, financial literacy, vocational training and life skills training, and also education of the girl child. We believe that everyone has the right to live free from violence and discrimination.
WESAD in partnership with Global GLOW, A2Empowerment, Men Engaged Network Cameroon, Reach Out Cameroon and LUKMEF Cameroon are empowering GBV survivors to seek help, speak out against violence, and take steps to protect themselves and their communities, educate communities and advocate for policy change to address this critical issue of protecting survivors and holding perpetrators accountable.
