Creating Opportunities for Rural Youths in Farm and Non Farm Businesses

This project is to enable young rural women and men to create sustainable farm and nonfarm businesses by building their entrepreneurial capacities for enhanced peer learning and their access to complementary business development services.

WESAD is an implementing partner for this project. Funded by International Fund for Agriculture and Development (IFAD) and a consortium of partners, this project has trained 76 young entrepreneurs and is currently carrying out mentorship/ accompaniment for these 76 young entrepreneurship (39 female:37 male) from 13 council areas in the North West Region of Cameroon. The consortium of partners involve are: IFAD, CEED, SUSTERRA, GYIN, Venture for All and Columbia Business School.
