MenEngage

MenEngage Program

Violence against women is most often associated with negative practices that involves culture and tradition. As part of the MenEngage network, WESAD funded by Reach Out Cameroon have carried out community dialogues in Bamenda I, II, III, Tubah Bali and Ndop subdivisions, reaching out to 365 religious leaders, community leaders and traditional authorities, engaging them in discussions that promote positive masculinities and breaking negative social norms in the North West Region of Cameroon. This was done as part of MenEngage activities to transform patriarchal masculinities and advanced sexual and reproductive health rights in our communities. This activity is ongoing.
